[PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] presents the 101st release in the catalogue β Substak - Reach & Resonance EP. (@substak)
This is not merely a collection of tracks and remixes, but a sonic system in which the signal loses its linearity and begins to exist according to the laws of deep response. Here, outward motion does not mean moving outside β on the contrary, it becomes a penetration into the hidden layers of space, into the zone where sound is no longer transmitted, but takes root. And resonance appears not as a consequence, but as an independent force: as the memory of the medium, as its answer, as the return of an impulse in another, transformed form.
Substak, an electronic music artist from Athens, builds Reach & Resonance EP as a field of tension between transmission and reflection, between the impulse and its phantom.
