  • Monday 13 October - 21 Tishrei, Day 7 of Sukkot (Tabernacles) / Hoshana Rabbah
    Today in History: Haggai prophesied about the glory of the later Temple being greater than the first (see Haggai 2:2). Messiah spoke about the “living water” of the Spirit in the Holy Temple. It was the same day as the traditional water ceremony in the Temple (see John 7:37–39). The memorial of Rabbi Isaac Lichtenstein (of blessed memory), a Messianic Jewish pioneer who died in 1908 CE (5669). He was a Hungarian Orthodox rabbi who became a believer in Yeshua as Messiah.
