The mother of one child who was neurotypical and two with neuropsychiatric disorders, she used her education to interact with specialists and to research interventions for her children. In 2018, she founded Relationship Restoration Strategies, a 501c3 which exists to increase quality of life for children with autism and their caregivers in nations or regions with little access to effective intervention. RRS serves to benefit people with Autism Spectrum Conditions through introducing caregivers to Relationship Development Intervention, remediation crafted to develop Mindful Guiding Relationships as a means to promote cognitive development.Meanwhile, Melanie works as a Team Director for Apostolic Intercessors Network, a Christian business that links professional level intercessors with individuals, families, and workplace leaders around the globe.
