As we wait for Sophie to decide whether we need to pack our bags for Our Cottage, we’ll be busy feather shopping with El, ruining lives with a former gossip writer and topping up the pink champagne to mark the un-bow-lievable return of one Lady Penwood.

Elsewhere, we’ll be raising ducklings with Daphne, bumbling to the bar with Colin and wrestling the last puzzle piece off of Michaela.

But with Hyacinth’s recital planning driving us mad and a parliament of Aylesbury owls giving us a headache, we hope you’ll forgive us for taking a little nap.

Rest assured, we’ll be revived in time for dinner. Uh, right John? John?!

Better bring us that brandy, Barnes.

He’s back. He’s bearded. He’s grumpier than ever. That’s right, dear listeners: our beloved Viscount is home at last.

Join us as we pour ourselves a whiskey in honour of the Season 4 Part 2 trailer and make our final wagers for the passing winter and beyond.

As we dodge Anthony’s ire at the doodled ledgers, we’ll be climbing trees with Matchmaker Colin, slicing stilton with Mr Finch and throwing a little housewarming party for the Bridgerton’s newest neighbours.

And as Pen puts pen to paper, we’ll be flouncing our sleeves and painting the town pink for the illustrious return of everyone’s favourite blonde backbiter. Perhaps Wales offered a little more companionship than simply sheep alone.

But if you’ve found yourselves at a crossroads, dear listeners, then do not despair. We’ve had quite enough of the demands of society and it’s time to let our hearts speak. Is that not so, Colin?

Warm your biscuits, dear listeners. We are the tea you’re having tonight.

Now that we’ve finished polishing a hundred pairs of Araminta’s shoes, it’s time to peek through the doorway of our Season 4 Part 1 reaction. No need to pack a bag – just grab a couple of counterfeit shoe clips and a feverish artist for a sublime day in the country.

Once we’ve dried ourselves off from a dip in the lake, we’ll be heading back to Mayfair to continue our fruitless search for Glove Lady, a coherent timeline, and Francesca’s elusive pinnacle.

Since we’ve been cast out of the clubhouse and banned from attending the theatre, we’ll be joining the Featherington men on a food tour of London. And if we happen to get caught behind a broken carriage on the way? Well, it’s nothing a little ice cream won’t fix.

But Colin Bridgerton, you have been warned. You might not take note of staffing changes, but we certainly have. It’s time to get your hands off Pen and your household in order.

The Maid Wars are waging and our Vortia hearts are the casualties.
