As the agents attempted to drive through the main gate of the governor’s estate, their rank spike was flagged, alarms sounded, and the guard attacked. Amberlin had obviously been forewarned. Their driver drove through wildly anyway in their armoured vehicle, and when they were finally stopped by an unyielding door, Morgan used her rosette to open it and they entered the ground floor of the mansion. They stimmed themselves up for as much advantage as possible and fought their way to the upper floors, heading first towards Darius, the young governor.
