Do The Show! - 7 - You Don't Have to be a Starving Artist
There's nothing romantic or noble about things being harder than they already are. You can be a creative person without being sad, tortured, broke or lost.

Do The Show! - 6 - Low Power Mode
How do you keep things going when it’s impossible to do everything at once at maximum energy and peak focus? What does your creative thing look like at 100% and what does it look like at 10%, while still being the thing you’re making. Because sometimes we only have energy to do the 10% version, right? Also, how many different faces can your creative project wear? If you make a variety of creative work, some people may only ever see one part of that work, the part that is for them... and that is ok. It has to be ok. You can’t be everything to everybody. It is a question of accessibility: physical, yes, but also temporal and emotional. This episode is an example. I want to keep producing but sometimes a livestream isn’t possible. How do I feel like I’m still on track, especially when I’m really only accountable to myself?

Do The Show! - 4 - Musical Guest Doug McArthur
I talk with musician Doug McArthur about making music, creative spaces, and how to work with a creative paertner.
A show about creativity being greater than productivity. Hosted by Jef Holbrook, your pal from TV.
Officially called “Do The_.” where you can fill in the blank any way you want but since that’s hard to say so we also call it the “Do The” show, or… “Do The Show!”
Do The Show! is a practical show about how to get going on your creative projects. No flashy “tips and tricks” but instead, a thoughtful, nuanced show where audience members share how they overcome creative obstacles.
