On April 25, 2010, a panic-stricken 25-year-old Heidi Firkus called 911 to report a break-in in her and her husband Nick’s home. That’s when there was a gunshot and screaming. After this, Nick re-dialed 911, screaming that he and Heidi were shot by this intruder. After first responders arrived, Heidi was already dead at the scene, and Firkus was acting strange with police in re-telling his story. Time went on and Firkus remarried… but his second wife found out about the financial problems he was secretly having, and how similar their situation was becoming to his financial situation with his first wife, whose death still had not found any justice. She knew that something was wrong, and that Nick was at the center of it.

Reagan Tokes was a 21-year-old college student about to graduate when she was abducted and killed one night. Case Update: Since filming, Michael McKee was extradited and is now being held in Franklin County, Ohio where he is facing charges. In a hearing on Friday, January 23rd, 2026, he pleaded not guilty. It has also come to light that on December 6th, video evidence shows Michael entering the Tepe's home while they were at the Big Ten Championship Football Game. Sources say Monique left the game at halftime and was reportedly "upset about something involving her ex-husband."
