Keep an eye out for doors and walls and stairs because we are kicking off "Thanks for the Judds", a six-week programming block on Ashley Judd thrillers, with Gary Fleder's Kiss The Girls (1997).
Nominated by listener Az, each week we'll dive into a new Judd title, starting with the one that made her a bankable lead...and one that she has a very different relationship to all these years later.
Plus: two climaxes for our "Leopold and Loeb" killers; a commanding Tony "Goldwyn-ing" performance; and the evolution of Alex Cross over time.

Grab your cello and wear your wedding dress in the pond because we are talking 1971's indie psychological thriller Let's Scare Jessica To Death. Starring an understated Zohra Lampert and the seductive Mariclare Costello, the film is a great early example of gaslight horror.

Plus: the death of the free love movement; debate about whether Jessica is going crazy or if the threat is real; Joe's hilarious relationship with the score; and comparisons to Carmilla.
