"feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace” (Ephesians 6:15) symbolizes being ready to serve and share the gospel. Elder David A. Bednar connects this to service, explaining that it represents our willingness to walk in Christ’s footsteps, serving others and spreading peace. Being “shod” spiritually protects us as we engage in gospel work and help those around us.
