Love What You've Done With The Place

H from Steps used to live in a 30-bed Sussex mansion with a chapel and a ballroom. These days, his more modest Cowbridge home is built around his family, although there’s obviously still plenty of room for fabulous parties. Even the guests occasionally get held up on the way…

It’s a lucky person who gets to admire the view from athlete and presenter Colin Jackson’s living room window - a sweeping vista of Cardiff Bay. The man who was once described by Hello magazine as ‘insanely tidy’ tells us that his ideal level of minimalism is ‘you’ve been robbed!’ and lets us in on the secret perks of being neighbours with your mum.

Sophie Ellis Bextor is a maximalist. She’s big into wallpaper, a huge fan of a glitterball and the creator of a fun and cosy home. And she’s absolutely fine with the kids drawing on the wall. After all, it runs in the family…

Darlings, you join us on a little summer breakette! We’ve been rifling through the kitchen drawers to bring you another compilation of our absolute favourite moments from the series so far.

In this glorious round-up, Owain revisits fabulous chats with Dr Ranj, Nicki Chapman, Tom Allen, Frankie Rowan-Plowden, Divina De Campo, Rev Kate Botley, and Colleen Ramsey.

Expect everything from Gran Canarian cave houses and DIY bucket rat traps, to thirty kitchen disco balls and a glowing "Jesus Arms" home bar. We also settle the ultimate decor-ista debate: what really goes on in the downstairs loo?
